Googled 2016 mid engine corvette....Really impressive photos....First car to come to mind as far as looks was the Ferrari 360...I think the car will be a hit if in fact Chevy goes through with the design....

That GT is a beast.....I remember when Ford put them out...The pricing I believe was around 140-150 thousand....
On the block there going between 220-240 thousand if I remember correctly,used... Talk about an investment..Maybe I should have used my equity to buy one back in the day instead of a home in Florida ....Lol....Its all good .... If that mid engine looks as good as the photos I saw it will be a hit......Than again I remember when I saw some preliminary sketches of the ZR1 back in the day and I was like "wow"... To be honest when the car debuted It looked nothing like the scetches I saw....Honestly, my first thought was --"it looks like a regular C-4 Corvette....I thought, no hood scoops? No aggressive lines? The motor? Sure back in 90 it was untouchable....But the styling I feel was too close to the regular C4... Months ago I was at a car show out in Long Island NY....I happen to park mine next to a 96..Car was in showroom condition...After a few hours the owner goes " hey I just noticed the back of your Vette is a lot wider than mine"....I was like dude, you serious?...If there is anything a corvette owner knows is the width of the rear on a C4 ZR1.... It's one of the most noticeable changes Chevy did to the body when they designed the ZR1.. Last edited by Vette73; 06-25-2015 at 10:09 AM. Reason: Spelling |
