Default Re: Why isn't the Registry open to all Z?

I don't have a strong interest in any Corvettes other than the C4 ZR-1. If I did, I'm sure I could go find a forum for them, right? I like the narrow focus of this site. It's not diluted with a lot of non-C4 ZR-1 content.

As I see it...

The FORUM would easily accommodate other ZR's; a la the CF for only ONE example. Perhaps including other "ZR(one) owners and enthusiasts isn't such a big leap??

The By-Laws state:

Section 2: Purpose Established

The general purpose of The ZR-1 Net Registry, will be educational, to operate as a nonprofit organization, to encourage planned trips, events and social activities for members and to provide and regulate events and exhibitions for ZR-1 Corvette owners and enthusiasts.
As for "the powers that be", that isn't the BOD. The "powers that be" is the MEMBERS.

Pros vs. Cons... Lots to consider - far as expansion goes. Reaping the benefits without loosing anything we (the Registry) has got...is the trick, IMO.
