Until Phil has the sensor and confirms the configuration of the sensor to the cavity the connector is of little concern. I've ID'd the connector shell and supplied Phil with all of the tools needed to evaluate components and eliminate guessing. The terminals and seals need to be selective based upon the wire gauge of the sensor he's considered.
I'd say the project is 'under control'! Jeff - your sources are valid for parts. I used another but I was buying in bulk when I was purchasing. |

Is this the connector we are looking for?
If the sensor is correct minus the connector, re-pinning should be relatively easy. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Dorman-64...&wl13=&veh=sem Last edited by secondchance; 12-20-2017 at 06:49 AM. |

For that price a person could buy enough components to build maybe 4 of the correct harness connectors. Right now like I mentioned Phil should have information and until the sensor compatibility to the cavity is confirmed there's no rush to the connector. Actually if a person such as Young1 had a known good connector on a defective sensor he would only need the sensor, transfer his conduit, buy 3 terminals and 3 seals for the terminals assemble and be done. I have been busy tracking down correct GM connectors since I have been having a lot of "oh-s**t" moments breaking OEM connectors while disconnecting them. Price you pay for holding onto 23 plus year old car... AC Delco use to have an excellent webpage where you can list AC Delco connectors by male/female and number of prongs. For some reason, I cannot find this web page. Could it be that GM really wants us to walk away from 20 plus year old cars and buy new? |

My sensor was cracked where it bolted to the head. I made a JB Weld repair but would prefer to replace the sensor prior to reinstalling the engine. Looking forward to the results.

For some reason I don’t see an option to post pictures on the Z Registry.
