Amazing Results after Haibeck work on my 90

Yesterday the weather finally was good enough to take my 90 Z for a spin after getting it back from Marc Haibeck. It is hard to describe how much stronger, smoother and quieter the car is. I had it shipped to Marc to fix a miss and several minor things. He was very thorough finding many things I didn't expect, such as a missing secondary fuel pump relay! The first time I nailed it from a rolling start, I felt like it was going to pop a wheelie! The performance change is dramatic! Additionally creature comforts such as repair of CD player, speaker amplifier, lumbar bladders, several lights, power antenna, etc. were expertly repaired. Marc also installed a performance chip AYBKG5. I'm sure that was partly responsible for the greatly improved performance, although hard to tell since there was so much else going on.

I would like to briefly share what I have been through since buying the car two years ago. Living in the Kansas City, MO area I did my best to get work done locally. Some was good and some was a total rip-off. Contact me off-post for details. If you are reluctant to ship your car to Chicago, let me say that I would have saved thousands and enjoyed the capabilities of the great ZR-1 much earlier had I sent it to Haibeck Automotive Technology first!

Yes, Marc is truly the maestro on these cars. He and Pete and Bob Gillig and others here in FBI Land make these BEASTS perform beyond expectations when they were new!

Had very good experience when I took my 90 Z to Marc last year. Needed a lot just like yours. I really liked how Marc looked over the car with me, he listens. Plus he found several things I missed. Everything he fixed still works.

Took mine to Mark 3 years ago with 70000 miles. Did injectors and misc other things including radio and antenna with a nifty hidden switch to stop it from going up and down all the time. Runs great and will be driving it across the country again on the 25th anniversary caravan.

Did you guys drive your car to his shop or have them shipped? I did some research on shipping my car from NY and I got a quote from Reliable for $3,800 round trip. Crazy. Does anyone have any other carries that they have used? Has anyone ever used Conte corvette for repairs?

Marc has had his hands on all three of the ZR-1's that I have owned and I have been very satisfied. He is four hours away from me, but I enjoy the drive over just to have him work on the car and learn more about it each trip. Oh, and the picnic and gathering with the FBI group is a lot of fun too.
