Default cam cover leaking

Anyone had problem with leaking valve cam cover?
I fixed three time and still have a problem with leaking valve cam cover on one corner.
Everytime thoroughly cleaned valve cam covers and heads, degreased, next was use special sealant. Left side is ok, right don`t know why everytime leaking from the same place.

Surface curve of valve cam cover or head, is it possible?
Do you have any suggestion?

Tommy, You may have a high spot on your cam-cover, put your cam-cover on a piece of glass measure around the perimeter of the cam-cover with a feeler gauge and you should find the high spot if there is one.

How are you installing it? Are you lifting up the motor, removing the heater box? Wonder if you are "sliding" it in place and disturbing the permabond..what sealant are you using?

I don`t lifting the engine but removing heater box, try to do not sliding cam cover. I use for this operation anaerobic sealant Loctite 518 (avaliable in Poland)

Left side of cam cover is ok, done in the same way.

Well you must know how to apply it right because only the one side leaking, I would straight edge check the cover like was suggested, The only other thing -because I hope your cam cover is straight is torque sequence?

I checked cam cover today and it looks good.Last time I tightened the screws by torque wrench M8 bolt 20Nm and M6 bolt 10Nm. Whether tightening order is important?

Yes, sequence is important. Not only to sealing but also for the camshaft journal bearing alignment.
