I've always assumed that the pic was taken on a dyno.

Fastest I have had the ZR-1 was in the 140s

Fastest I have been in a car was 155 in my old 87 so That was a good strong tuned port, Messing around with my boys on their bikes.

And the fastest I have been on a bike was over 180 didnt look back down again.


My best speeding ticket was a 88 in a 55 and I believe he got me slowing down haha

Water pump was failing. Replaced it and most of the vanes were gone from rust.

LOL, I hear you about looking down John. I had my vrod topped out at 140 and looked down for a second and saw the blur of asphalt inches away from my feet....and immediately started to slowly back off the throttle.
