Default Now THAT IS WHAT I AM FRINKIN TALKIN ABOUT>>

I am one very happy camper... after 3 months up on a lift today was the day...will everything work? Issues be corrected? Make me smile?

Fired up engine and still ran a bit rough... was throwing the 33 code (MAP anomaly). After some careful review determine the MAP vac line was not sealing fully thus the code. Corrected.

Had replaced upper right control arm, new rotors and Porterfield pads, flushed cooling system and replaced 16 injectors and a defective fuel line.

Well, this ZR now runs like a stripped ape with its butt on fire...smooth and now have truly felt for the first time of ownership of my ZR a properly running LT5... car runs staight and true, the new front shocks corrected the problem of ride harshness (I think they were stuck on Perfomance setting and would not go off of that regardless of what you dialed in) and the brakes bedded in perfectly. It is a new car...wow it just feels sooooo right

A significant improvement was replacing the 7+ year old tires... the new D3s balanced beautifully and the grip is FAR FAR better (old tires on the ZR were in the 'hardening' stage).

Yes... I do babble on but I do so being extremely pleased...

That's great, Michael. Why did you have to replace the upper control arm, i don't remember you talking about that on here at all?

Well... either at BG or someone thereafter did a garage ape tightening on the upper ball joint stud nut and totally wiped out the grease seal/boot>>

Decided it would easier to replace entire control arm than replace the ball joint.

It looks like the grease seal/boot is different on those 2 control arms -- is that just from the damage to the original?

Hey Mike, glad you're happy with the results of the winter's thrashing around in the pits! These cars will make you get a bad case of perma-grin!

ain't nothing like driving a gorilla in a tux!
