Bad battery or poorly charged battery. C4s do strange electrical things if the battery is not 100% Suggest a battery tender during stoage to maintain the battery.

just pulled the battery off the charger before I fired her up and drove down to best buy. The car does this every year but usually the turn singles start working after a few cycles. this time not so much,

Probablly a weak or shorting internal plate within the battery. As stated the battery must be in 100% condition. All C4s are power whores.

Just a shot in the dark here Kevin. What about moisture? If the storage facility is not heated you could get condensation at the grounds. I know it's far fetched....but I noticed alot of condensation under the hood now that my car lives in an unheated garage. Otherwise as Daryl said about the health of the battery, it is the more likely candidate.

yes the place i store the car is unheated and condensation is a possibility.

Yea that condensation is insidious, it gets everywhere. I started using the stuff from the boat stores. It comes in small tubs, about the size of the small cream cheese tubs. I leave one under the clam shell near the A.I.R. pump and another near the battery/break master/ cam cover and another on the other cam cover near the HVAC stuff, and another up on the overflow tank. I also open up all the compartments & take my stuff home before I deploy three inside the passenger area. One each foot well and one in the back deck area.

I hate to say this part. So I'll just toss it out. The first thing that I did in 12/04 when I got the car was to get every connector and ground eyelet I could find in the engine room and: take them apart, clean w/contact cleaner & light sand paper on the ground "eyes". Then using some dielectric grease put all the ground eyes back in place. The connectors were a bit more tedious. Unplug, paper towel soaked w/contact cleaner enemas , remove the corrigated rubber gaskets & rub dielectric on them and put some dielectric into the terminals of each side of the connectors. My car came to me from a climate controlled garage...it's owner built houses for a living, so his house had all the good stuff!

Daryl, in the garage when i did my midnite auto service this yr it was 35*F that night....yea I know I need some time on the couch for my brain tune up....I gave up after awhile...

If I could get up to the heaters and turn on the gas I'd be set, trouble is they are up about 25' and I think the Co-Op would find out!
