I figured why not keep sending him emails ....so I sent this.
Please be aware that you are not selling a ZR-1. The only thing thats a ZR-1 on that car is the emblem. ZR-1s did not go into production until 1990 and have an LT5 engine. That is an C4 with an LT1 engine. Please change your ad or this will be reported to EBAY. |

somebody straighten me out. i can`t see what the rear end looks like on the picture and don`t know what might have been added but look at the park lights. it looks like a 91 up.

Pretty sure the rear end / wing is aftermarket . Mid America offers a low profile wing that fits their ZR-1 style replica bumper (91-96) .
At least that's what it looked like from the photo. |

By adding the wing and after market ZR1 rear end does not make it KOTH. The ad is misleading. I hope any buyers check for information on the zr1's.

It's funny when I was looking to buy a ZR-1 the first thing I did as a new buyer was to get the VIN prefix straight in my head...as a non-owner & a know nothing about ZR-1 body differences...the only way I knew for sure was to look for the 1G1YZ in the vin so I knew I was looking at the right cars!
![]() Now I can spot the door panels from 10 yards away, let alone that booty and the rear rubber!!! God these cars are great looking!!
