Yeah and things like lighter weights or springs,
more or less timing, hotter or colder plugs, change the dwell angle. |

Speaking of which, there is a solid state "drop-in" replacement for the points - meaning the end of having to constantly be chasing timing/dwell. Gonna give it a try (Ami's Vette). I swapped out points in my Audi 4000 and Scirocco S many years ago. Points would corrode in less than 5000 miles. So I used an optic system instead.
