any GM dealership folks?
I'm looking to buy a used GM car, that I am told by the owner is still under warranty. However, I'd like to just confirm that's the case. Anyone work at a dealership or have the ability to look up that information? Or any tips on how to confirm this? I can provide the VIN.

In the past I've called dealerships with a VIN and asked them if they could tell me the inservice data and whether or not it is under the original or extended warranty. While they typically haven't always been willing to provide service record information they have given me inservice and warranty info. Do they no longer do that?
