I saw that!!
Color, miles & condition.. Still I did not expect it to go that high.
There is a white/grey '91 w/10k on there now. Wonder if the one that sold will affect the price on this one?

Happy to see one go for 6 figures, likely a BaT Fluke...

Dont see many blue ones for sale. Makes one think for half a second LOL

Is that the highest price for a ZR-1?

I've only sold on BaT, which carries no fee. Not sure what BaT buyer's premium would be on a $101K win but, it has to be added to the total price the winning bidder will pay for the vehicle.
What I'm trying to say (in a clunky way) is, it sold for more than $101K.

I think the buyers fee is 5% with a max of $5000.00.

A beautiful car, would love to have a Quasar Blue car but with a bit more mileage so I could take it out and enjoy it.

I bet the seller is really happy it didn't sell at Mecum in March when it didn't meet reserve at $70k. Made an extra $38k on the sale by avoiding the Mecum sellers commission and then no sellers commission on BaT.

While it would be nice to think this is where these cars are headed, the 18k 2000 Chevy Metro says it's just a playground for people with stupid money.

Which is great for sellers, but not representative of the market. There are plenty of ZR-1s that haven't brought huge money on there as well. That car might have been just the one someone wanted, or it may be someone who didn't want to spend the time looking and doesn't care about losing money in a year or two.

I would venture to say the person paying the $100K plus doesn't think it's a fluke.
