I just completed the operations section of flight judging and both vanity lights did not work or both power mirrors. I had to take point deduction but the strange thing is they all worked 24 hours prior?
I checked the #3 fuse which is a 5 amp red fuse and it is fine. tried a new fuse and still nothing. Hope some of our ZR1 friends may have ideas for the cure. Thank you ![]()

Was the key in RUN? (If the key was OFF, these items don't function.)

Excellent point, Dave. In what sequence are those items tested? Was the engine running?

The OP's situation hints that this was a Chapter event. Individual judges' (and owner) familiarity with these cars varies widely. The current group of regional and national judges likely to be conducting Ops should know that the key has to be On, or at least remember to turn it on when these items don't function. My favorite curiosity is the blue hi beam indicator in the 90-96. The key must be on even if the headlights are on in hi beam. The CCM controls the blue indicator. If the key isn't on, the CCM isn't active, and won't control the blue indicator. |

Sam...
Since asking the question(s), have you tested the vanity lights and exterior mirrors with the key in the run position? Mark
