Yup.
It's an awesome car but I have too many cars (5).
I'm having the most fun with the Turbo Impala SS so I'm planning on installing a roll bar, TH400 trans, FAST EFI and more engine upgrades to get it into the 10's.

About half way through 93 the gears in the transmissions were revised to be quieter and as a result the transmissions went from a torque capacity of approximately 450 ft-lbs to 400 ft-lbs.
The first 232 or so ZR-1's made in 93 had the same higher torque capacity transmission as the 90-92 ZR-1's.

never knew that one -- new one to me! --in the link info I see Dr. Bill B can do a weld fix to it however--- interesting...

so lets see== a lower than 232 production 40th anniv 93 ZR-1 is the one you want! If you want it all!!!

I guess it depends on whether you want the heavy duty transmission or the quiet transmission. I actually like the gear whining noise. If I end up getting another ZR-1 in the future I'll probably look for an early 93 with Black paint. All my cars have always been black until I owned this Vette and even though White is very nice, nothing looks better than Black in my opinion.
