i installed my second set of jons ,ficinjectors in my other zr1 . i had rcs in her that went bad .the car now has blk learns that are almost allways the same max off 1 pt . before with the rcs blk learns were 3-4 pts off ie 132l 136 r. as a bonus i am getting better fuel milage . i took my normal friday early morning run to bakersfield 400 miles . with the rcs the best i got was 24.1 today i got 25.8 . i am in no way knocking the rcs but for the price 349 plus shipping for flow matches injectors with a 3 year unconditional warrenty. and great customer service . he is getting all my business . just wanted to pass this prevyor to all here .thanx jon for being a great guy to deal with . ps my car has 410 gears

kind of makes me wish my injectors had lasted till Jon's company came along. That's an awesome price and if I read Jon's info correctly, they use s/s Bosch injectors as the starting point?
I was watching the vids that Jon has posted over at CF. I was very disapointed to see the spray pattern displayed by the Lucas injectors. I just wonder if the Lucas based RC's that we use in our LT5's have the same spray pattern?? It seemed to me from the vids that Jon's stuff has better atomization. I wonder if that atomization translates into better Block Learn #'s and better combustion results??? ![]() Tom

jon explained to me that they (bosch ) have only 1 moving part , yes i believe they are s/steel . right now the bosch he selling are actually brand new .i am going to get one more set for my newest toy even though the ones in it are doing ok. i gotta think the spray pattern is the reason for the fuel milage ,plus he takes great care to tightly match the flow rates . i remember that the ones from rc were 204 and 205 cc.anyone who trys these from him wont be sorry,of that i am sure

I actually purchased a set of 30 lb per hour injectors from FIC a few weeks back to go into a Lamborghini we was working on, the dealer will only sell the fuel rail with 6 per side & they run $1800.00 per side. Since the car i was working on needed bigger injectors anyway, this was a perfect fit & the prices were great, less than $600.00 for all 12 inc. shipping.
Now the car has sufficient fuel, i was able to get some VBOX numbers. Not ZR-1 realted, but what the hell, we're all gear heads on here. First time out testing: 0-60 MPH in 2.8 sec. 0-100 MPH in 6.5 sec 1/4 mile in 10.8 sec 60-130 in 7.6 sec |
