I have been using the PureOne since I bought my car.

I have 6 in the original blue in the cabinet and a couple Yellow ones.. been happy so far no issues

I have all the PF 970, 970C filters, some retain oil better then others. Mainly looking for all the shelf stuff now.

The PL14619 seems well built and the specs are impressive - its just kinda ugly. Can you show me a picture of the original blue Pure One's? Can you still buy them? Part #? Thanks.

I was using the Bosch 3401 but switched to the FRAM TG3985 after reading the thread posted by Hans linked below.

I bought a few from Rock Auto and then found they were available locally as well. They have a light gray body and black top - I just spray them black and they look fine to me.

I'm with Scott and value Marc H's opinion and research so I bought a boat load of FRAM TG3985 (will also paint when I use on) and Bosch 3401 (using now). I have a lifetime supply from the Rock Auto closeout so I'll just use these until the car or I die.
